Kim LaBruzza

Kickboxing Instructor, Heat Bootcamp Coach, & Personal Trainer

National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer

My name is Kim and I’m a Personal Trainer, Kickboxing Instructor, and Coach who is passionate about pushing you to step out of your comfort zone and helping you crush your fitness goals.
I’m a born and raised Austinite, an athlete, a competitor, mom of two athletes, Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Certified STRONG by Zumba HIIT instructor, and a Volleyball coach of 15+ years through USA Volleyball.

My love for all things athletic and competitive started as far back as I can remember. I was that tomboy climbing trees, dominating at sports, working hard to prove to the world that that girls can do everything boys can do (and a lot of the time do it even better). You name the sport, I probably played it growing up– basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, track, powerlifting, etc. In middle school, once I transitioned from playing on teams of all boys to playing on girls’ teams, I realized that a lot of girls were apprehensive to embrace their inner “beast mode” and were holding themselves back (and in turn holding the team back). I was determined to become a catalyst for change, to inspire those girls by fearlessly pushing myself to be my best and going “all out” no matter what. My coaches recognized my drive and passion to uplift others and put me into leadership positions, which gave me the confidence to start coaching various youth sports at a young age. Soon after, I realized a dream of becoming an indoor club volleyball coach to high school age athletes through USA Volleyball; I’m currently in my 16th season, and still absolutely love it.

I fell in love with kickboxing about a year and a half ago. After my first class, I told my friend, “that was amazing. I want to teach this one day”, and here I am! Kickboxing is by far one of the most empowering workouts I’ve ever done, and I am excited to be able to teach it at E + E. You’ll walk out of my classes and trainings feeling powerful, fearless, self-confident, and ready to conquer the rest of your day. My goal is to inspire you to tap into your inner badass with a mix of knowledge, positivity, tough love, support, and a sense of humor.

When I’m not teaching at E + E or working out, you can find me taking photos, on a volleyball court, at a baseball field, hanging with friends, or enjoying a favorite local meal with my husband and sons.
